Nicole Apisa - Tax Director, New York

Nicole has over 15 years of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to private equity firms and hedge funds both in-house and as an advisor. Nicole’s primary practice areas include federal and state tax compliance, consulting, and planning for investment partnerships, management companies, and corporate “blockers.” She has extensive experience in the alternative investments industry including partnership taxation, tax structuring, cross-border taxation, and tax planning and compliance for both hedge funds and private equity funds.

Before joining FTS, Nicole worked as Tax Director at both MatlinPatterson Global Advisors and Apax Partners, and as Tax Manager at Avenue Capital Group. She also spent several years in public accounting at both Deloitte and Ernst & Young serving hedge fund clients in compliance matters and transaction advisory. Nicole graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University.
