Maria specializes in SALT compliance and consulting within the Financial Services and Real Estate industries. Prior to joining FTS, Maria was a Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) and was a member of the PwC State and Local Tax (SALT) practice since 2011 working with some of the largest private equity (real estate, co-investment and fund of funds) clients. Maria's experience has primarily consisted of analyzing the state and local tax implications of proposed transactions and reviewing partnership and corporate state tax returns for purposes of identifying tax planning opportunities and/or exposures. Maria graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
